[Solved]Can't use netcfg after upgrade

After a recent pacman -Syu (don't exactly recall what was upgraded I'm afraid) my desktop network will no longer start at boot using network-profiles.  I get the following error:

Error: an inet prefix is expected rather than "gateway".

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling netcfg in case the example scripts had changed - which they had. They added a commented out "routes" option. There was also a commented out section for ipv6

Apart from that, however, it seems the same.

I'm also getting a similar problem with the wireless on my laptop - i.e. a config error message that wasn't there before - but I'm hoping that solving this will give me clues as to how to solve that.

I can get my network working using the old school rc.conf approach, but I'd rather not as this always throws up the deprecated warning.

Any ideas why this isn't working?

HAve you merged the rc.conf with the rc.conf.pacnew that you would have gotten after the said upgrade?

HAve you merged the rc.conf with the rc.conf.pacnew that you would have gotten after the said upgrade?

My apologies - I have now and that has fixed it.  I will learn from this mistake :-)
