Let us know if there are any problems.

Greetings,

Re: Forums updated to FluxBB 1.4.6

Thanks Pierre. I had been waiting for the search to include "Last visit at" which was included in the 1.4.6 version smile

Re: Forums updated to FluxBB 1.4.6

Speaking of search, I find the

[ ] (<- checkbox)
Label

[ ]
Label

...

layout terrible.

Re: Forums updated to FluxBB 1.4.6

ugh !! you are right about that. It doesn't even have the "select all" button sad

I might just create a feature request to change that to a multi-select list.

Re: Forums updated to FluxBB 1.4.6

Do I really have to tick them all (if I want to search the whole forum) or am I missing some kind of shortcut to do this?
It's easier to 'Select all' and uncheck the ones you don't want to search in - we really do need the 'Select all' button or some kind of search preferences, like in the wiki.

Re: Forums updated to FluxBB 1.4.6

Ummm, guess what happens if you don't tick any of those checkboxes - you search the whole forum!

Edit: Ah, thanks for the layout change. Now I see the note "If no forums are selected, all forums will be searched."

Re: Forums updated to FluxBB 1.4.6

naah, its not local. I think it was just a matter of the local browser cache not being refreshed. The first time I went to the search page, I got a shitload of checkboxes without the picklist. Looked ugly and I had to scroll a mile to reach the bottom of the page. A cache refresh brought in the checkboxes within the picklist which is now much more manageable.

But unfortunately, I had already jumped the gun and created the ticket. Now one of the FluxBB devs would just have to kill that ticket, I guess.

FluxBB Dev here.

Yeah, I think this is not a problem. Browsers will allow you to click on the label, so it is just as easy selecting multiple items as in a multi-select box.

Doing my best to break your forum.

@Pierre
I don't want to be nitpicking, but could somebody do something about https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=119601 ?

On an unrelated note, I've just noticed I'm getting '502 Bad Gateway' on whichever forum post I click. Hope it's some temporary issue.

I was just about to report this as well. I have this on Midori only, however. Firefox works.

On Midori (latest git version) this appears since yesterday (if I remember right) and happens only after some work on the board (English Arch forums only, others work ok). But when it once got to 502 it keeps being so for some hours, even after restart.

This happens only when I try to look at an individual post. Directories and "new"/"mark as read" do work.

To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.

Same here. Wiki etc. works OK. I've e-mailed Pierre.

You know what's even funnier? My second computer connected to the same router and also using Firefox (but the stable release instead of nightly) works fine :-)

Re: Forums updated to FluxBB 1.4.6

I see the same issue as bernarcher and karol describe it. I'm using Chromium and privoxy. I do not have this issue with luakit and privoxy (mind you, I never log in from luakit due to cookie issues). Restarting Chromium is how I normally fixed the issue. A few hours ago I noticed that it seems to be fixed when I log out and log back in. I'll try to verify when I next see the problem.

I saw one bad gateway error before the upgrade so I didn't attribute it to the forum update.

OK, I can view topics now. The problem lasted about an hour and went away on itself - restarting the browser and even the whole computer didn't work.

Re: Forums updated to FluxBB 1.4.6

I increased the fastcgi buffer size of nginx; let me know if that solves your problem.
