help setting up wireless network on new box....

Hi,

Read wiki on wifi head hurts...

ok I have

 Ethernet   : Intel Corp.|82820 815e (Camino 2) Chipset PCI module: unknown

now I need to know which package I need to load to get it working ?

once I figure that out I'll read the manual ;-)

We need more details to figure out what module you need or if you need ndiswrapper.

Can you post the output of lspci and lspci -n  ?

Looks like the wireless device is not listed.
The 2 references to ethernet controller appear to be Marvell Yukon gigabit connections.
Can you give the brand and model of your motherboard ?

It's not an easy card to configure.
There's a a package in the aur for this driver , but it appears to be outdated.
It looks like someone is working on a new package : http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=184662#184662 but hasn't finished it .

An alternative would be to use ndiswrapper, but to be sure it works we need the id for this  card. As lspci didn't show the card, it is most likely connected through the usb-bus.
lsusb should show that id.
