Hello. I have the simple but strange problem. The mouse scrolling do not work. And as I understood by commands
cat /dev/input/micecat /dev/input/mouse0the kernel do not get input of mouse wheel, because after that commands it get all event in console except mouse wheel. Click on mouse wheel is receiving.
xinput also get all events except mouse wheel event.
Mouse wheel work nice in windows 7 and in bios but not in Arch Linux (I don’t know if the mouse wheel works on some other Linux). The mouse is simple: left, right button and mouse wheel.
It was working about 3 month ago, and now, after some update, it does not work.
Can somebody help me with it?

# uname -a
Linux userhost 5.2.9-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Aug 16 11:29:43 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/LinuxI also read some topics and found that https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=247731 is similar. But as I understood the patch is already applied to the kernel. So, it didn't help.

No the patch that would fix this would be https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/10986697/ which according to the comments has not yet been applied to any more recent stable kernel.
Use the LTS kernel in the meantime, or the ABS to include this patch and build the kernel yourself.
Edit: As it happens, 5.2.11 will/does include this patch, so you could just use that.

V1del thanks. I compile 5.2.11 and it works. The problem is solved.
P.S. I don't know why but LTS has such problem too. But it doesn't matter.
