carl9170 troubleshooting again

I've moved to Chakra, but am posting here because it is still a better forum.

My firmware/module seems to load fine, but "dhcpcd wlan0" still times out.  Another linux box works fine with DHCP on the same wireless network.  I am at a loss as to how to troubleshoot this further.

Yes, I've read the wiki and tried " iwconfig wlan0 channel auto" which doesn't seem to help.
