Up until FVWM 2.6 I used a slighty modified Pem's FVWM when it broke. I haven't found a solution to it yet so I am using just the default configuration until I can find something better.

Hi Woomia,
I've updated my post, you can get an old version of the configuration, if you still want to try it.

Hi guys,
Just a quick note, I have some "old" configurations taken all over the web and mirrored there: http://arnaud.fortier-family.com/fvwm/i … th=mirror/
Happy fvwm!

Nothing special...just a few utilities on my desktop and all the configurations are mishmashes from others I've found on this board and others with only a few tweaks of my own.
I try and keep it relatively simple and small since my eeepc is not hugely powerful or big on screen resolution.

Using the awesome power of FVWM, I implemented an easy to use windowing system, for a user who is fine with using the console. It runs on a 15.5" HiDPI screen at 2880×1620 px resolution. The latest release is available on GitHub:hiwiwi
Virtual desktops with current desktop highlighted in green. (FvwmPager)
Shell on each desktop, on the lowest layer. (urxvt)
Tray icons. (Stalonetray)
Keyboard layout switcher. (xxkb)

The first application window opens without decorations, taking up available space. (FVWM)
Additional application windows open on a layer above. Windows can only be resized and closed, not maximized nor iconified. Shadow rendered by compositor. (compton)

feklee, the images you posted were too large and violating forum policy. Please post only thumbnails with links to images hosted on image hosting websites.

Too bad for author search, or I'd be surprised at your ability to recall those posts.

Maybe if he hadn't done the links in reverse chronological order he could have fooled us
But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.
