My locale :

LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE=C

My localectl :

System Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8
                  LC_COLLATE=C
       VC Keymap: fr
      X11 Layout: fr
       X11 Model: pc105

Re: [SOLVED] Error gnome-terminal

Which DE do you use? How do you start it?
Please post the relevant config files and logs in code, not in quote tags.

Update:
A user just solved this issue in the German forum by replacing vte3-ng from AUR with vte3 from the official repos.

Re: [SOLVED] Error gnome-terminal

Go to gnome settings --> Region&Language and check whether Language tab is not unspecified (that was the case for me, although all the rest looked fine).
